Does anyone ever get the feeling sometimes that we’re/you’re fighting a losing battle on the whole SSM issue? I mean, the younger crowd coming up is all open to pretty much anything and everything these days, including gay marriage, and they look upon the older crowd as being “closed minded” and things like that.

At the same time, it’s difficult to even engage in conversations with others of differing opinions because we/you get told to “get off your soapbox”. I frankly am running out of things to fight/argue back with, especially on the AJ message boards and commenting on stories there. It seems most people who comment there are in favour of SSM, making it seem as if my conversational/argumentative “ammo” is pretty much having no effect.

Anyway, I guess I’ll get off my soapbox now, hehe.
