Transcribed and edited slightly for clarity:

We welcome the archbishop’s advice that this general synod not take any further action on legitimising the blessing of same-sex unions as being inappropriate for this time. We cannot resolve this by resolution but in the spirit of sharing and understanding.

At the same time, we are dismayed that the primate himself appeared to speak harshly of those who have left us, as having committed the greater sin when what they were doing was reacting to those who had already gone contrary to the wishes of the communion; and they received no approbation. This dismays us: there is an inconsistency between what the primate asks for and his own reaction towards those who have taken steps in reaction to what had already taken place.

If there are three moratoria, why single out one and pretend that the others don’t exit. Not only that, the cross border interventions, particularly in Canada will be virtually non-existent – the one exception would be the diocese of Rwanda and the AMiA.
