I say again, let us honour God with the sharing of our joy and love in recognition of this woman’s servanthood and bravery. Let it be in person at our Synod in Ottawa.
Let us continue in the same light of our past two Synods and prepare for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the factoring of our faith in all that we say and do. Again may I humbly suggest that in addition to business at synod,we celebrate our God by continuing to share together in learning, in the communal participation of ordinations or consecrations as may be happening.
Finally that we may honour the finishing of our baptism by having our young people present to receive not only the Episcopal Laying on of Hands but the witnessing of the power of unified Faith.
What an amazing job! Whatever comes of this, she has testified according to the truth and it will bear good fruit.
Well said, Lorna Ashworth. Thank you for your courage.
