I wonder if this was raised with other Instruments of Communion (e.g. the troublesome Primates meeting for one), or whether this is a fait accompli? Note that this body is now the self-titled Standing Committee of the Anglican Communion. What's in a name, eh? I’m going for a pithy summary:

I notice the Standing Committee becomes the uber-Instrument of Communion, the jaw behind the teeth. I wonder if this was raised with other Instruments of Communion (e.g. the troublesome Primates meeting for one), or whether this is a fait accompli? Until I see that 'truly' happen, I will feel that the covenant is a colossal waste of time.
