I wasn’t part of the negotiations, but connecting the dots:

The diocese had no congregation at St. Hilda’s, a very small one at Good Shepherd and a small one at St. George’s;

They haven’t started to pay their bills yet for occupying the buildings, but they will have to in the near future – including their future use of the buildings;

The new arrangement suits ANiC since the ANiC St. George’s congregation no longer uses its building and the other 2 ANiC congregations do use their buildings.

The post said that the Diocese of Niagara received exclusive use of St George’s while the ANiC Congregations received exclusive use of St Hilda’s and Good Shepperd. I’m wondering why the difference?

The “sharing” arrangement mandated by the court is still in effect, it’s just been rearranged.

Yes, we’ve been home for a couple of Sundays. I believe the diocese is coming to pick up its tinny piano on Friday.

Right……..no, Wrong, wrong, wrong……..Muriel has it right.
The diocese of niagara has no intention of being something beautiful to deal with or anything else. Their course is set, their rudder is locked in and they really don’t care who gets hurt while in their way. This was only done to satisfy a court ruling!

This might be the beginning of something beautiful. Might the churches in Niagara have found a way to reconcile with one another by sharing?
