A newly ordained friend of mine is officiating at his first funeral tomorrow afternoon. The funeral is for a one week old baby. Please pray for him, the family, and his congregation.

Jesus wept – and so do we for the grieving family of this precious little one. May God comfort them with the knowledge that through Jesus Christ the sting of death is replaced by the hope of eternal life with our Lord and God. May God give the the minister the words to convey this marvelous hope even at this time of heartbreak.
