From Stand Firm. Read the whole thing here.

I want to thank you for the comments you made on a recent thread. I have been greatly blessed by my participation in the Stand Firm forum and so many people there have been wonderfully kind and gracious towards me. You are by no means the least of these.

I also want to share a few impressions with you which may help to clarify my own views on the subject of how and why a change in sexual orientation may be experienced by homosexual persons who convert to Christianity, and why it may not be.

I have to admit, I feel as if I’ve led a sheltered life on this score. I was evangelized by Christians who did not consider it to be the least bit remarkable that a sexually active gay militant could be brought to faith in Christ, and then discipled in a Church which does not regard celibacy as a thing to be dreaded, or something that only very eccentric people find appealing.

As our brother says: “In the Christian life none of us is left to his own devices.”
    Alleluia! Alleluia!
