Archbishop Fred Hiltz attended yesterday’s Sunday service at St John The Divine, North Bay. He was interviewed by a North Bay Nugget reporter.

Hiltz sees a resolution on the issue of blessing gay marriages as an important part of the future of the Anglican Church of Canada.

If Abp Hiltz thinks a resolution of same-sex blessings is important, what’s he doing to move the church toward that?

He acknowledges the sensitivity of the issue but believes it’s important for the church to talk about it.

The church has a history of valuing diversity,” said Hiltz, adding he hopes a decision will not divide the church and its members can continue to live together gracefully.

He wants talk, but diocese after diocese is moving toward authorisation of SSBs, so the time for talk is being foreclosed by precipitate action.

Memo to Abp Hiltz: Decisions are being made and the church is already divided. As for living together gracefully, ask the congregation of St Hilda’s, for one, how that’s working out.

Hiltz is correct in his assessment. However, what the future holds for the ACoC will depend on what that resolution is. If “the resolution” is repentance and a return to biblically faithful and traditional Christianity, then the future of the ACoC may well be bright. However, if “the resolution” reflects the formalization of it’s current heresies into ACoC doctrine, then the slide down the slippery slope towards oblivion will most likely continue.

So, Mr. Hiltz wants “resolution” of the same sex issue. Well, guess what—so does everyone else!!!! Mr. Hiltz, the answer is quite simple—if you want resolution of this issue, then STOP PROMOTING SAME SEX ACTIVITY IN THE CHURCH!!!!!!

The problem is that the ACoC leaders promoting these heretic beliefs are not able to simply say NO!!!!! If they were able to say NO, then those who won’t abide by the requirements Scripture has set forth as a standard for living will eventually go away. If these folks don’t get their way, then they WILL go away. They’ll go where they will be accepted. Yes, this will pare the church down substantially, however, it will also leave the church in its most pure form in centuries.

The answer is simple: STOP PROMOTING HERESY AND THE HERETICS WILL GO AWAY!!! Just let them go! Stop trying to force their hand. Stop trying to placate them. If they don’t want to accept the historic beliefs the the ACoC, then that’s their decision. They may attend if they still see fit, however, over time they will come to realize that their abhorrent behaviors are not accepted and they WILL GO AWAY. They CANNOT become members or leaders of the church, if it’s a true church of God.

So, Mr. Hiltz, this is my advice to you: STOP BEING SUCH A WUSS AND JUST TELL THEM NO!!!!! STOP PROMOTING THIS NONSENSE!!!

Please note, it was my purposeful intention to refer to Mr. Hiltz as “Mr.” and NOT “Bishop” because no man who accepts homosexual activity as part of God’s righteous way of life is a “Bishop” in the eyes of God. A person who does this is serving satan and NOT the God of the Bible!!!!

Please forgive the strong statements of my previous post. This one just hits really close to home for me. The church in the article is in North Bay, a community in northern Ontario (Diocese of Algoma). This community is very close to my home town. I have several family members in this community.

The thing to take close note of here is that the Diocese of Algoma has always been a very CONSERVATIVE diocese. On top of that, northern Ontario folks are not the same at Torontonians (there was a comparison to Toronto parishes in the article). They are FAR more conservative in their thinking. To know that Hiltz visited a church in this community and may be attempting to spread the filth and infection that has taken over so many other dioceses in Canada just rips me apart from the inside out. It’s like shoving a dirty knife into a wound and then allowing it to fester. The sickness of deep heresy that has invaded many southern Ontario parishes, and those of the Diocese of Westminster in B.C. must be stopped. Hiltz could play a very large part in that if he REALLY cared. However, from what I’ve seen and heard from him so far, he’s part of the infection, NOT part of the healing. That’s why it makes me sick to know he’s invading this diocese who has just elected a new Bishop who remains CONSERVATIVE and will lead the diocese likewise. All I can see Hiltz doing here is attempting to DESTROY one of the few remaining dioceses in Canada that remains CONSERVATIVE.

No, Mr. Hiltz, this is not about how you receive younger folks. It’s about how you treat everyone across the board. ALL must be encouraged to abide by God’s Word. ALL must be taught the truth. If they choose not to accept God’s truth (and that’s their choice) then they must be told they cannot become a part of the church and must either move on, or repent.

The Anglican Church isn’t really about diversity. At least in the Diocese of Algoma it never has been. Actually, the church I grew up in within this diocese was quite AUTHORITARIAN. You couldn’t get anything past the priests I grew up with. Many tried, but they didn’t succeed. The standards of Scripture were always upheld. You could not receive communion in the church without having been confirmed. Certain other denominational attendees were not allowed to receive communion even if they were baptized in their own church. If their beliefs did not match the ACoC, then they were not allowed to receive communion. Yes, they could approach the rail and be blessed (laying on of hands) by the priest, but that was all.

You could not marry in that church unless one of the people to be married was a confirmed, practicing Anglican. I was married in that church and had to meet all those requirements, including counseling prior to marriage. I have friends who tried to get married in the church but were turned away due to not being faithful, regular attendees of the Anglican Church (both baptized and confirmed).

I urge all of you who are still within this diocese to be graceful, but not taken in by this sickness that Hiltz promotes. Say NO!!!!! Do NOT follow his lead! He’s part of the sickness satan promotes.

Seems like liberal Anglicans always “valu[e] diversity” until that diversity says, “We want a proper conservative bishop to exercise oversight”. That kind of “diversity” (ie., biblical Anglican Christianity) is NOT welcome. In reality, the only kind of “diversity” liberals want is the kind that embraces the liberal agenda. If you don’t, then your parish gets sued for its property. I’m sick of the spin that people like Hilz peddle. Biblical diversity is NOT a diversity of views on core issues of the faith, it is diversity of GIFTS that God gives his church to worship God, to serve each other, and to serve the world around us.

The typical liberal is fully in favour of free speech, but only so long as you say what they want other people to hear. Once you start sayings things to people that the liberals do not like, they accuse you of being “intolerant” and “non-inclusive”. Then they take away your right to free speech.
Normally this would be called censorship. Something that communists and fascists are very skilled at. We all know how tolerant and inclusive these folk are.
