Hi Henry, thanks for dropping by. V. 17 says:

17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel�not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

The problem with the Anglican Church of Canada is that it has emptied the cross of its power, and no longer preaches the gospel. We are not called to be in unity at the expense of the good news.

I agree Prairie Words. We have made a stand and the remnant will be established to build on in the future. It is clear that God is removing the leadership from the West and giving it to those who cherish the Gospel (even if they aren’t perfect).

The climate in the church obstructs our view forward by having to look over our shoulder and to stop to clear the path. Perhaps it is God’s Will that we serve as a vanguard to the return to His teachings and the path, once established, will make those who follow behind us tread easier.
