Pay close attention to this cartoon by Gene. It is much more accurate in it’s statement that many of us will realize at this exact moment in time.
Just watch what happens with some of our “Canons” within the ACC in the coming days if some hasn’t happened already. The only thing missing in Gene’s cartoon is an emerging “iron fist” coming out of the canon (weapon) reaching for the Canon’s throat.
Lighten up Drumroll – I know exactly what it means. I have been following TEC behaviours for the past few years and have no illusions of what is to come.
+KJS is obvious – who can forget the purple stripes. Are the other bishops caricatures of specific people?
The big par of glasses and eyes at the back has to be Ingham of New Westminster.
One of them could very easily be called Bishop Cyrus Pitman of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador Diocese. After reading his Ad Clerum to the Diocese it is easy to envision him as the one without the glasses… just got to find out who the one with the moustache is……
I would suggest doing an “A Team” version.
