Today’s entry from the Network Conference prayer guide, “Contending for the Gospel Through Prayer”:

“I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” John 17: 26

This is not mere theological verbiage but a heartfelt prayer by our Master on the eve of His death. He is making the Father known so that the Love that the Father has for His Son will be in us. We can love our Lord Jesus with the same love that our Father loves Him. Could this be how we are enabled to love God with “all our heart and soul and mind and strength”? Pray that we all arrive on Thursday filled to overflowing with the Father’s love for Jesus! Amen!
