Welcome to Anglican Essentials Canada Anglican Essentials started with the Essentials ’94 conference in Montreal which produced the Montreal declaration of Anglican Essentials. Over time this became an important movement to support Canadian Anglicans who wished to remain true to Biblically-faithful, historically-authentic Anglicanism. In 2007, two complementary arms were launched: • Anglican Communion Alliance (ACA), which was formerly known as Anglican Essentials Federation, now supports Anglicans who focus their efforts on calling the Anglican Church of Canada back to its Biblical roots; and • Anglican Network in Canada (ANiC), a diocese in the Anglican Church of North America. Recognizing that the mandate of Anglican Essentials Canada (AEC) had been fulfilled and was being carried on the by the ACA and ANiC, the board of AEC unanimously voted in September 2011 for Anglican Essentials Canada to cease operations as of December 31, 2011. We are grateful for how God has blessed this initiative that began in 1992 as a vision of some faithful Anglicans. We thank you all for your prayers and support.
